The Solved Mystery Swap. 02/19/2011
We are a group of ladies who receive an image, and then we let creativity take over. As an avid reader, I cannot express how much I love this image sent in by Gael. I'm always surrounded by books and in each room in my house I have a few books sitting around.
The front of the card, I used DP showing shelves of books. The center stamp is a (PTI) All Booked Up . The Brown CS is PTI, Stamp of Books (Serendipity Stamp)
The girl sitting on the books and the kitty is by (Artful Inkies) Think Big

Dueling Darling Divas, Seventh Round

Dueling Darlings #7

We're here again, and I didn't lose my kit. I know that one day I WILL find it.

ITs time for our Dueling Darling Challenge...the theme"Love"... Jaime sent us a fun packet full oof goodies. She is organized, everything was labeled and organized.(Probably thinking of me, ensure I do not lose it). We had DSP, embossed CS, ribbons, brads(heart shape), pearls, Need I go on. I have not made a valentine card in over 10 years, so this was a major challenge. But, once I got started, I totally fell in love with my Stamped image.

I hope you like my card,

First Anya Card

I've finally colored an Anya image and I feel pretty good about it. I was definitely scared about coloring her skin tone and hair, but I went online and watched a video, I don't know how many times. So, I hope everyone like my first result. I did this card for the Mystery Swap, the DP is from my stash with no name, but perfect for the Mystery Swap. Plus, teal is one of my favorite colors, so, I used my favorite color and I also used the last sheet of my paper and ribbon.

DDD's December Challenge

December DDD's challenge is here, our fantastic hostgess, provided us with an Inky Antics images. Isn't he cute. The DP is Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses, and oh my accessories galore, plus a box that I left at work.

Of course, I had to sprinkle the Santa with Sticles Glitters everywhere, because he kept smiling at me. I really love this one. Thank you my fantastic hostess Laura Jean.

I'm suppose to list something that I truly appreciate and love. I love it when I wake up each morning, I appreciate the small things, such as a beautiful blanket of snow, a robin, the first blade of grass trying to come thru, a beautiful sunset, a cup of tea and a good book, listening to jazz, when I feel frazzled and frustrated. I didn't want to say the normal things, of what I love, just what I see every day, by myself thru my eyes only. I try to start each new day with something that nature has provided me to see.
PLEASE GO TO EVERYONE'S BLOG AND THEN GO TO RANGER'S BLOG TO SEE THE OTHER COMPETITORS.
